These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of PixLab AI Photo Editor (the “App”) and related website (together, the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
The Service is provided by PixLab AI Photo Editor. For support or legal notices, contact info@pixailab.com.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law and meet any minimum age required in your jurisdiction (and not be under 13). If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
3. The Service
PixLab provides AI-assisted photo editing features, including but not limited to photoshoots, art and sketch styles, filters, lighting looks, hairstyles, and makeovers. Features may change, be limited by device capability, require network access, or be offered as free or paid.
4. Your content and rights
- You retain ownership of photos and content you submit (“User Content”).
- You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display User Content solely to operate and improve the features you request.
- You represent that you have all rights needed to submit User Content and that it does not infringe others’ rights or violate law.
- Do not upload illegal, harmful, or abusive content, or content depicting minors in a sexualized context.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service except as allowed by law
- Bypass paywalls, usage limits, or security controls
- Use outputs to mislead others about a person’s identity or create unlawful deepfakes
- Use the Service for spam, harassment, or unauthorized commercial bulk processing
- Interfere with other users’ enjoyment of the Service
6. Subscriptions, purchases, and ads
Some features may require a one-time purchase or subscription managed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. Prices, billing cycles, trials, and refunds are governed by the applicable store’s terms. Cancel renewals in your store account settings. The free experience may include advertisements.
7. AI outputs
AI-generated or AI-edited results are probabilistic and may be inaccurate, unexpected, or unsuitable for your purpose. Outputs are provided for personal creative use. You are responsible for how you use and share them, including complying with publicity, privacy, and copyright laws.
8. Intellectual property
The App, branding, design, software, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors. Except for the limited license to use the Service as intended, no rights are granted.
9. Third-party services
The Service may rely on third-party hosting, AI processing, analytics, advertising, or app stores. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.
12. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive will survive.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the provider’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply.
